We’re a small, family-run business — proudly independent and hands-on.
Everything we do is in-house, with no outsourcing and no cutting corners.
We carefully source from trusted UK suppliers, using premium soy wax and strongly fragranced, paraben-free oils. Our melts are hand-poured to order — fresh, bespoke, and made with care.
Our mission is simple: to fill homes across the UK with feel-good scents, one melt at a time.

Hi, I’m Caroline — founder and maker at WMM.
I started this family-run business during lockdown, after falling in love with the mood-lifting power of wax melts.
Everything I make is something I’d love to receive myself — hand-poured using UK-sourced soy wax, paraben-free oils, and sustainable packaging.
I still test, pour and pack every order from our home near Bristol — and I’m so grateful you’re here.

Meet Rob — our safety and compliance expert.
He ensures everything we make is safe, CLP-compliant, and clearly labelled, so you can melt with confidence. Rob double-checks ingredients, researches regulations, and keeps our standards high — because we’d never send out anything we wouldn’t use ourselves.
He also inspects every order before it leaves us, making sure it’s carefully packed and perfectly presented — and yes, he keeps the rest of us (and our ever-growing wax stash!) in check.

Meet Laura — our eco-conscious marketing mind and all-round ideas person.
She makes sure everything we use — from wax to glitters to packaging — is vegan-friendly, sustainable, and kind to the planet.
Laura keeps us focused on what matters: thoughtful sourcing, honest messaging, and creating a brand that reflects our values. She’s also behind much of what you see online, helping us share our story with the world — beautifully.
🌿 Our Story — We Make Melts
When the world locked down in early 2020, life suddenly slowed. The silence outside, the uncertainty, the long days at home — like many, I searched for small comforts to bring warmth and calm into those strange times. I found myself endlessly scrolling Etsy, hunting for something cosy to lift the mood. It was the era of Mrs Hinch hacks, Zoom quizzes, and DIY everything — and I was determined to make our home feel fresher, calmer, more alive.
That’s when I discovered wax melts.
Little fragrant treasures that filled our rooms with joy, warmth, and a sense of escape.
I became obsessed — in the best way. I tried melts from all over the UK, always chasing new scents, stronger throws, longer-lasting aromas. My family loved the result, and soon wax melts became part of our daily routine — a flick of the lighter, a melting moment of peace.
Then came a turning point: my husband gifted me a DIY wax melt kit.
🌸That little box changed everything.
As I melted, mixed and poured, I began to question:
💭 What exactly goes into the melts I’ve been buying?
💭 Why are some made with paraffin wax, or packed with synthetic additives and parabens?
💭 Could I create something better? Kinder? More eco-conscious?
🌱And that’s how We Make Melts was born.
I threw myself into research and testing, learning how to handcraft beautiful melts from soy wax — a non-fossil-fuel, sustainable alternative — and how to source vegan-friendly fragrance oils, colourings, and glitters that were free from nasties and kind to the planet. I discovered that I wasn’t just making wax melts — I was creating little moments of joy. And I knew I wanted to share that.
🌾It started small — a few snap bars, a handful of shapes — but quickly grew into something much more. My natural curiosity (and let’s be honest, a slight obsession!) meant I was soon surrounded by boxes of fragrance oils, trays of shaped moulds, and hours spent testing scent blends in the kitchen. Before I knew it, we had a proper setup, orders rolling in, and a dream turning into a business.
🍂But I never did it alone.
We’re the Evans family from Bristol, near the South Wales border — and We Make Melts has always been a family affair.

I am Caroline and I lead our hand-pouring — creating beautiful small-batch melts in a wide range of popular and niche scents. Every bar and shape is crafted with love, and always with palm-oil free, GMO-free, vegan soy wax.
